Applications Now Open: DIGISOC Joint Master’s Programme 2026/2027

Are you passionate about digital transformation and social innovation? The DIGISOC European Joint Master’s Programme is now accepting applications for the 2026/2027 cohort.

What is DIGISOC?

The Master Digital Society and Global Citizenship (dubbed DIGISOC) trains the next generation of socio-digital innovators — professionals who can bridge the gap between advanced digital technologies and meaningful social change. This two-year programme combines expertise from three European universities across Italy, Austria, and the Czech Republic.

Graduates learn to design, prototype, and implement digital solutions for sustainable social innovation in three key sectors: Education, Communication, and Culture.

Why DIGISOC?

Triple degree: Graduate with a joint Master’s degree from the University of Naples Federico II, University of Innsbruck, and Palacký University Olomouc.

International experience: Study in a hybrid format with mandatory summer schools and mobility periods across Europe. Join a diverse cohort of 90 students from around the world.

Career-ready skills: The curriculum balances theoretical foundations with hands-on practice through internships and service learning with EURIDICE project partners across Europe.

Affordable: Annual tuition is €2,000, with scholarships of up to €3,000 per year available for eligible students.

Programme Structure

Year 1 focuses on foundations: theorising digital society, global citizenship, and design for social innovation — plus two intensive summer schools.

Year 2 offers specialisation in one of three tracks:

  • Culture & Digital Humanism
  • Public Pedagogy for Digital Citizenship
  • Digital Communication

The programme concludes with an internship and Master’s thesis.
