Strategies for Social Enterprise Scaling and Replication: Leveraging Generative AI Tools to Create Market Disequilibria and Drive Sector-Wide Transformation
From 8-13 March EURIDICE organized a life-long learning course hosted by CBS. In this course we are experimenting with a new teaching format that combines social enterprise scaling strategies with generative AI development.
In this course, international MBA students work together with social entrepreneurship practitioners to design strategies for scaling social enterprises through both external replication and internal scaling.
A central component is the use of generative AI tools. Participants work on adapting existing GenAI models and building custom AI mentors and tools that support the replication of social enterprise business models. Each participating organisation leaves the course with a working prototype of a GenAI-based tool designed to support its replication journey.
The pedagogical format combines lectures, collaborative workshops, fieldwork, and applied AI development. MBA students and practitioners work in mixed teams supported by CBS faculty and a research team that continues mentoring the projects for six months after the course. The programme concludes with a pitch of the AI-enabled replication strategy to peers and stakeholders.
Course development was supported through the EURIDICE project, funded by the European Union’s Digital Europe Programme (Grant Agreement No. 101123121).”
