In this master class you learn how to create a business model for a new product idea. We use the e3value notation and supporting tools to represent the value network of companies that will contribute to the business idea. You will learn hands-on how to explore possible value networks and generate possible business cases for them, including estimations of payback time and discounted net present value.
With our tools, business modeling turns into an engineering activity, including the financial analyses that are common in engineering.
E3value models are the ideal starting point for the identification of technology requirements, data sharing requirements, and process design. They act as an intermediary representation that can be used to communicate the value proposition and financials to management, and to communicate technical requirements to software developers. This avoids unpleasant surprises at either side.
