The European Commission has the ambition to make European Joint Degrees and seamless education work. In the end of March 2024, the EU has adopted a set of proposals to bring European higher education closer to a European Joint Degree. This is very relevant for the EURIDICE project, as this is one of our main objectives.
The European Joint Degree is seamlessly in line with EURIDICE, as it aims to provide an interdisciplinary international curriculum, relevant to the labour market. aimed at the digital transition. Moreover, inclusion and European values and multilingualism are also mentioned.
Such programmes are designed to enhance the global attractiveness of European higher education and research and to develop the innovation potential of Europe’s universities. The Degree should be awarded digitally and should be automatically recognised across the EU.
