Second module by Peter Knees
Artificial intelligence deals with the development of systems that can learn from data, recognise patterns and solve tasks that previously required human intelligence, with ethics, transparency and accountability forming central guidelines. Machine learning (ML) is a branch of artificial intelligence in which computers derive patterns and regularities from data without being explicitly programmed to do so. ML uses historical data, recognises patterns and trains models that estimate probabilities or make predictions based on new inputs.
