While the Digital Transition constitutes one of the global challenges society is facing, and the core area in which EURIDICE seeks to design innovative educational approaches, the Green Transition represents an equally critical domain of concern, addressing the urgent imperatives of climate action and environmental sustainability. The Anthropocene Navigators community, one of our ecosystem partners from Amsterdam, has launched a call for abstracts for EGU26.

Given the deeply intertwined nature of these two global challenges, and in order to avoid the limitations of monodisciplinary silos, we are offering an opportunity to team up with this community, by taking a holistic, interdisciplinary, and transdisciplinary perspective, which is a way to tackle complex, wicked problems. We invite PhD candidates, senior scientists and working professionals from across the EURIDICE ecosystem to engage in a shared intellectual community dedicated to understanding and responding to these complex societal issues.

Researchers and practitioners working at the nexus of the Digital Transition and the Green Transition are invited to submit contributions to EGU26, the annual meeting of the European Geosciences Union, taking place from 3–8 May. The conference provides a forum to discuss and present ongoing research, as well as emerging ideas and innovations at the intersection of digitalization, climate action, and societal change.
