Consortium partners

EURIDICE has an extremely strong consortium with eleven universities across Europe, two independent digital research centers of excellence, two societally oriented cultural institutes, six small-medium enterprises and four associate partner-universities, three of which are from the Global South.

All EURIDICE’s universities are research-intensive and have strong and internationally established digital research programmes. The ongoing academic digital research is brought into the education programmes, closely linked to industry and societal institutions.

European universities

Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU – Netherlands) VU chairs the consortium based on itsstrong and internationally established interdisciplinary research programme that explores the digital society in all its aspects, read more..

V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University (KKNU – Ukraine) is one of the major universities in Ukraine, founded in 1804. This university has been heavily damaged by military air-strikes in 2022. TU Wien (TUW – Austria) is one of the major universities in Vienna, Austria and finds high international and domestic recognition in teaching and research. Institute of Life Long Learning of the University of Barcelona (IL3-UB – Spain) leads and has as its task to professionalize life long learning and pedagogical skills and to provide the partners with the methods in the consortium, and to provide teacher and executive trainings as well.

Universidade Lusófona de Humanidades e Tecnologias (ULusófona, Portugal) is involved in development and delivery of master modules, teacher training and executive training. Also, ULusófona plays a rol in EURIDICE’s strategy of communication, dissemination and outreach to society.
