From March 10–12, the EURIDICE Consortium gathered for a productive and inspiring three-day meeting at Lusófona University in Lisbon. Representatives from nearly all partner institutions participated—coming from Portugal, Spain, Iceland, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Italy, Greece, Austria, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Ukraine, and Ghana—with a few joining the sessions online.
The meeting was marked by dynamic exchanges on joint education initiatives, including microcredentials and international collaboration. In addition, participants had the opportunity to attend several insightful lectures:
- Prof. António Teodoro presented on Global Citizenship in Education,
- Prof. Vitor Duarte Teodoro discussed Artificial Intelligence in Education, and
- Prof. Mario Moutinho gave a thought-provoking talk on Museology.
These sessions enriched the ongoing dialogue on the future of European Digital Society aeducation nd further strengthened the consortium’s shared vision.

One of the cultural highlights this week was the top-rated Brazilian movie Ainda estou aqui by Walter Salles, which we saw and discussed afterwards.
A short presentation about the European Alliance FilmEU, by Manuel José Damásio, Associate Professor at the Humanities and Technologies Centre for Research in Applied Communication, Culture and New Technologies, at Universidade Lusófona, opened new opportunities for collaboration and partnership with the EURIDICE team, and students.

Collaboration with this European University would create links with Media Arts, Creative Industries and Technologies, which are at the core of EURIDICE’s sector and target groups, aligning with EU strategy, facilitating possible internship programs and creative spin-offs in the Digital Europe Programme.
