University for Development Studies (UDS, Ghana) is a public university in Ghana with special focus on the human development of the northern region of the country. It is implementing a new ICT for Development bachelor curriculum. Uptake and dissemination and outreach of educationals in Ghana. Relevant use cases for SDG-oriented design science master modules. Relevant expertise: ICT4D, AI/ASR for Indigenous languages. Community-oriented ICT, Indigenous knowledge, collaborative software development.

In EURIDICE, UDS will team up with partner universities VU and TU Wien, and design a master curriculum and modules in interdisciplinary Digital Society education, notably ICT4D, to build the reflective professionals in sociatally relevant digital development and artificial intelligence in and for the Global South. UDS will also be involved in teacher training.
