A blended learning training programme “Micro-Credentials as an Internationalisation Tool for Ukrainian Universities (MInT-Ukraine)” has been recently developed by Leibniz University Hannover.
MInT-Ukraine addresses the urgent need for flexible education models for international cooperation. The training aims to equip staff from Ukrainian higher education institutions with essential competencies in the management of internationalisation processes, with a particular focus on the strategic use of microcredentials. One of the experts in this training is Olena Mykolenko, Associate Professor at V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University and EURIDICE Project Manager, member of the Microcredential Board. She will benchmark German and European approaches to microcredentials, map current microcredential practices and (co-)develop institutional guidelines. Also, she will Pilot and validate recommendations with EURIDICE activities, by seeking synergies between EURIDICE and the German MInT-Ukraine project, led by Leibniz Universität Hannover. The long-term ambition is to implement micro credentials as a sustainable tool for lifelong learning and internationalisation.
