Lusófona University, located in the city centers of Lisbon and Porto, is the largest private university in Portugal. Since 1998, its objectives have been teaching and research in the various fields of science, culture and technology, from an interdisciplinary perspective and especially with a view to the development of Portuguese-speaking countries and peoples.
The Center for Interdisciplinary Studies in Education and Development (CeiED) is a reference research and development unit for the areas of Education and Museology of the Lusófona Group.
The Center is made up of researchers from different areas within the Social Sciences and Humanities and Education who have set themselves the goal of building knowledge aimed at Human Development. CeiED focuses on three fundamental dimensions of economic, social and territorial cohesion: Education, Memory and Territory, which includes the fight against inequalities and respect for differences, as well as recognizing the equal dignity of the human condition.
In EURIDICE, ULusófona is involved in development and delivery of master modules, teacher training and executive training. Also, ULusófona plays a rol in EURIDICE’s strategy of communication, dissemination and outreach to Society.
