Accra, 6 September 2026, we just concluded, very successfully, the Second African Digital Humanism Summer School, one of the outreach events of the EURIDICE project, chaired by associate partner UDS. To this educational event, 61 PhD and post-graduate students from 11 countries have actively participated. From this group, 49 students fully completed all requirements of the School, and obtained a 2-ECTS MicroCredential Certificate (compliant with the EU Guidelines). The gender balance was: 45% F, 55% M. The lectures were given by twenty renowned speakers from various universities in Africa and Europe.
The bootcamp, organized and led by partner university Carnegie Mellon University Africa, was an activity in which students carried out a group project and designed digital and/or entrepreneurial plans/solutions for communities, to bridge the digital divide.
On Saturday 6 September the groups presented their plans and received feedback from high-level experts on digital transformation and entrepreneurship.
